Camp Audrey's image

Hi! I'm Audrey. My husband Thayne and I are from New York and moved to Utah in 2019.

We have two dogs: Claire (left) and Shell (right). Claire was abandoned at a Sinclair gas station. We started calling her Claire after Sinclair and it stuck. We suspected she was pregnant when we got her, but the first ultrasound showed nothing. She kept getting bigger, so I brought her back for a second ultrasound. The vet said it looked like she was carrying two pups, but she actually had seven! We called them the Gas Gang and named all the pups after gas stations for fun: Exxon, Chevron, Gulf, Stewart, Hess, Maverick, and Shell.

I bonded with Shell instantly. She has looked at me with a huge smile since the day she was born. I had to keep her. We found wonderful homes for the other six, and still keep in touch with all of them. A couple of the pups even kept their Gas Gang names.

I work from home full time and in Feb 2021, I began hosting dogs in our home (located in Sandy, UT). In 2023, I coined Camp Audrey and got licensed with the State of Utah as an LLC. I started doing this because I LOVE dogs. They make life infinitely better. I take the dogs on daily adventures and it is the best part of my day, every day. I have 10+ years of experience caring for animals, including dogs of all age ranges.

I'd love to connect with you. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
