Personalized Care at No Extra Cost

Some dogs want to play tug-o-war for hours. Some dogs want to sunbathe on the deck. Some dogs want to play with each other. Some dogs want belly rubs and cuddles. Some dogs want to go on long walks. Some dogs need more rest. Many daycares in the area host large volumes of dogs and charge additional fees for one-on-one time, walks/hikes, and enrichment time. At Camp Audrey, we host a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure each dog always gets the individual attention and personalized care they deserve—at no extra cost.

Exercise & Mental Stimulation

Camp Audrey has a fully fenced yard and a dog door so dogs may go in and out as they please. We have a vinyl dog pool that often doubles as a ball pit, and LOTS of balls and yard toys. In addition, dogs are taken on daily walks or hikes at no additional cost, and your dog can remain on or off leash dependent on your preference. Your dog will always come home happy and tired!

No Kennels

Camp Audrey doesn’t have any kennels. We have one large crate on hand and the door is left open. You can bring your dog’s crate if you’d like as well. Dogs are never left alone for prolonged periods and are not crated without your knowledge/consent except for emergency or safety purposes. Dogs are allowed on the bed and furniture unless you request otherwise.

Premium Snacks

Camp Audrey provides plenty of high quality and/or single ingredient treats, such as bully sticks, pig skin twists, all natural bones with peanut butter filling, beef esophagus, freeze dried beef liver, and all natural dental chews. I also provide interactive puzzle toys and frozen treats for enrichment. I often bake pup-safe biscuits and cupcakes as well. These are made with ingredients such as apples, pumpkin, carrots, strawberries, blueberries, whole wheat or oat flour, rolled oats, eggs, etc. I don't use any artificial ingredients, dyes, or preservatives. Lastly, if a dog is refusing to eat, I am happy to sprinkle some crushed beef liver or other treat on top of their food to entice them. All treats are provided with owner's permission and at no additional cost.

Clean & Comfortable

Many daycares in the area have concrete flooring and/or rubber mats, and many are indoor only with dogs having to go potty on the floor. Camp Audrey is operated out of our home, which is primarily carpeted and full of dog beds and furniture that your dog may use. Carpets are vacuumed daily and steam cleaned weekly at minimum. We have giant washable pee mats for puppies who are potty training as well. Surfaces are sanitized frequently and dog beds, blankets, etc. are washed regularly. Dog waste is removed from the yard weekly at minimum. Damaged toys are put in the trash quickly to avoid any safety hazards. The 5-gallon gravity bowl of water is cleaned and refilled long before it is near empty. Everything in our home is kept in great condition to ensure your pup is comfortable and taken care of.

Flexibility

While we cannot guarantee 24/7 availability for pick-up and drop-off, we will work with you to accommodate your schedule. Additionally, many daycares operate 7 am to 7 pm, kenneling the dogs at 7 pm. The dogs are then alone (and without a potty break) until 7 am the next day. At Camp Audrey, dogs will get their last potty break around 11 pm and then can cuddle up on the bed for the night. If they need to go potty in the middle of the night, no problem! We have a dog door and they will never be alone overnight.

Tons of Updates

Many clients have expressed that they felt worried/anxious when they left their pups and past sitters/daycare failed to provide regular updates. With Camp Audrey, you will receive LOTS of photos and updates throughout your dog's stay so you never have to wonder what your dog is doing or if they're enjoying themselves. We strive to give you total peace of mind.
